Sunburn Treatments

As honey heals skin and sunburn is very simply mildly burned skin, then one would assume that Thentix with honey could help soothe and clear up sunburn. Remember that with you are applying Thentix that you do not need to slather it on. If your sunburn is very uncomfortable then apply Thentix several times a day but again you do not need too much. Let the honey do its work. Apply enough to let the cream work into the skin. If you feel it on the skin after a minute or so then you have likely used more than you need. If the your sunburn is to the point of blistering, you may want to see a doctor.

You can also apply Thentix before you go out in the sun. It does not have sunblock or sunscreen in it but because the honey and calendula are hydrating the cells, it seems to prevent the skin from getting so burned.

Other useful natural sunburn treatments:

Vinegar:
Simply soak a shirt or towel in vinegar and this can be placed directly on the skin to soothe the burn and help ease any pain.

Aloe Vera: This plant will grow in most climates. Bring it in for the cold weather if you are in the north. Apply the 'juice' from the leaves direclty to the burn. Unbelievable healing qualities. You will find that aloe vera is one of the ingredients in Thentix.

Tea: Make some tea then soak a shirt or towel in the tea and apply the same way as you would for the vinegar. Helps soothe the burn.

Baking Soda: As well as being used for bee stings and a thousand other things, baking soda can also be used to ease the pain of a sunburn. Probably the best way to use this is to put a small amount in the bathtub and soak for a while.
